Job Details:
Location: Import Farm, Spavinaw, Ok
Schedule: Monday through Friday, occasional call-ins due to equipment breakdowns.
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.
Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred. Applicant must have at least six consecutive months of work experience with the same employer and no additional gaps in employment greater than six months with the last 36 months. If applicant was laid-off, providing eldercare or childcare, the six month gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history criteria will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures of building and equipment, maintaining grounds and roads. Maintaining vehicles in the farm fleet. Helps with movement of chicks from commercial hatchery to farm and with the transprotation of eggs to and from commercial hatcheries. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preventive maintenance program for all farm vehicles and farm equipment. Performs generator test runs each week. House PM’s prior to flock placements. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to management. Coordinates major repairs with external vendors & drives to pick up parts and supplies. (50%)
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments; repairs or replaces defective parts; reports machinery defects or malfunctions to management. Weekly check of propane levels and water usage. Monitor formaldehyde levels. (20%)
