2026 Summer Intern, Appian Developer

ICF is seeking a motivated 2026 Summer Intern, Appian Developer to join our growing Appian delivery team. 

 

This is an entry-level, 10-week, full-time internship expected to begin in June and end in August. Work will be remote from anywhere in the United States. Pay is expected to be $23 per hour. At this time, we are unable to provide housing nor relocation assistance for this position. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

• Learn how to configure Appian applications, including building forms and simple workflows. 

• Assist in developing, testing, and deploying Appian applications and modules under the guidance of senior team members. 

• Assist in integrating Appian applications with external databases and connected systems. 

• Support application testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities. 

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

• Document technical designs, user stories, and deployment steps. 

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and promote best practices within the Appian practice. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

• By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

•  Candidate must be a US citizen, reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. per contract requirements. 

 

• Preferred Qualifications 

• Interest in software development and technology, with some exposure through coursework or personal projects 

• Eagerness to learn low-code development on the Appian platform 

• Basic familiarity with programming concepts (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting 

• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies, including Agile practices
