We champion an inclusive culture and strive to attract and develop a talented workforce to create and deliver a wide range of content reflecting our world.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>NBCUniversal is seeking a Director of Administration to provide strategic leadership over payroll and timekeeping operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely employee compensation. This role oversees the full cycle of payroll and timekeeping processes, including reconciliation and reporting, while maintaining strict adherence to labor laws, company policies and collective bargaining agreements.</p><p>The Director serves as a key liaison between leadership and employees and is responsible for driving operational efficiency, strengthening internal controls, and implementing process improvements across core functions, including timekeeping and budget management.</p><p>This position leads, develops teams, collaborates cross functionally with HR, Finance, and external partners, leveraging data insights to support workforce planning for informed business decisions. The Director of Administration plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, operational excellence and a high standard of service across operational and maintenance functions.<br/>  </p><p><strong>What You’ll Do: </strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage payroll and timekeeping operations, providing direction, and performance oversight to ensure a high performing team</li><li>Establish and maintain efficient workflows, strong internal controls and quality assurance standards to support accurate and timely payroll processing</li><li> Oversee all payroll and timekeeping activities, ensuring accurate reporting for wages, deductions and union/non-union employee time records</li><li>Monitor timekeeping and payroll data and timekeeper reports to identify discrepancies and drive timely resolution</li><li>Conduct invoicing and job estimate reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness and alignment with project scope and financial expectations</li><li>Ensure compliance by validating that charge codes accurately correlate to jobs and that the correct hours worked are properly applied to each job</li><li>Triage and prioritize work assignments to ensure core functions are executed efficiently, with a focus on allocating straight-time hours to the most critical and high priority work</li><li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, collective bargaining agreements and company policies</li><li>Partner with Human Resources and Labor Relations to interpret union agreements, support negotiations and address union employee matters as needed</li><li>Maintain documentation and oversee reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance</li><li>Drive continuous process improvements, leveraging technology and system enhancements to increase efficiency and data integrity</li><li>Oversee and optimize use of payroll and timekeeping systems (e.g., SAP, Timekeeper)</li><li>Serve as a key liaison with internal stakeholders and external partners, including HR, Finance, Payroll Administration, and Labor Relations</li><li>Provide high-level support and issue resolution for employee payroll and timekeeping inquiries</li><li>Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals</li><li>Leverage data and reporting to support workforce planning, including analysis of labor, overtime and absences (LOAs)</li><li>Ensure continuity of operations and proactively address risks to maintain seamless payroll and timekeeping functions</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Let’s T
