Palo Alto Networks has a world-class product management organization and is looking for a top-notch product manager to expand the team. As a Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks for our SASE solution including Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, feature functionality and roadmap for the core Prisma Access, including cloud infrastructure and overall security/network architecture. You will be expected to deliver product functionality that matches Palo Alto Networks’ level of innovation found throughout the product. You will be involved in all stages of the feature lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities.
Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials; evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally.
Your Impact
- Help build and launch new capabilities on Prisma SASE by extending, enriching and enhancing Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN
- Own the entire lifecycle of the feature/product from conception, definition, development, release
- Work with the product marketing team to develop compelling sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams
- Work with NPI, certification, professional services, support, and education team, to ensure your products get coverages by these cross-functional teams
- Work with legal, InfoSec, engineering, technical marketing and other internal teams to ensure compliance with various privacy and data protection regulations
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Successful experience in Product Management or Technical Marketing Engineer role in enterprise and public cloud networking, and network security domain
- Minimum 3 years in product management in the networking & security space required
- Minimum 5 years in the cloud networking and cloud infrastructure or related markets
- Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, product strategy, and product positioning
- Ability to take on full ownership of Product lifecycle from conception, writing product requirements, working with engineering to build the product and then working with sales to drive customer adoption
- Ability to conduct feature prioritization and trade off decision making
- Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization, from engineering to sales
- Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering
- Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external audiences
- Ability to learn new technologies and quickly adapt to fast paced environments
