Social Finance Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer (Loans Platform) in Cottonwood Heights, UT:

Job Duties: Architecting, designing, and delivering scalable, highly available services. Owning and
ideating on technical solutions for product requirements and user stories. Participating heavily in code
and design reviews. Generating ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Becoming domain experts on
the Student Loans business. Collaborating and representing engineering with outside stakeholders in
product marketing, operations, business, legal, and compliance. Working in a fast-moving, highly
collaborative environment across multiple offices. Mentoring more junior members of the team and
helping foster a learning environment within the team. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Information Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of
progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5)
years of experience in the job offered.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java or Object-Oriented Language (five years); (2) AngularJS or React
(three years); (3) Kibana, Splunk, or Datadog (three years); (4) Gitlab (two years); (5) Docker (three
years); (6) Kubernetes (three years); (7) Jira in scrum environment; (8) AWS. Any suitable combination of
education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $146,940.00 - $168,981.00 per annum
