Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, distribution partnerships, sales, or a related field.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the media and entertainment industry, coupled with passion for the sector and a commitment to continuous growth.
  • Experience working both separately and as part of a team within a dynamic, ever-changing, and highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, assess financial benefits, and structure agreement terms, supported by data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end partnerships from initial pitch through to final contract execution.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with high proficiency in public speaking and managing various internal and external stakeholders.

As a part of the Google TV’s Product Activation team (formely Go-to-Market), you will support a smart TV platform built on Android TV OS that unifies content from various streaming apps and services into a single, user-friendly interface and it is available on smart TVs from partners like Sony and TCL, as well as Google’s first-party device, Google TV Streamer, the platform delivers personalized recommendations and access to over 700,000 movies and TV episodes, as well as more than 800 free channels. As of late 2025, the platform, combined with Android TV, had surpassed 279 million global monthly active devices. In this capacity, you will help drive monetization for the product, lead new initiatives, shape long-term strategy, and influence the product roadmap.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first-party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Pitch, negotiate, and finalize high-value monetized distribution deals, including app and remote button placements, in close collaboration with Legal and BD teams.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to identify technical issues, develop solutions, and directly inform the product roadmap based on market needs.
  • Identify and explore incremental business opportunities by launching new programs, developing financial models, and enhancing reporting capabilities.
  • Track agreement pipelines, business, and performance metrics while overseeing the creation of sales materials and partner performance reports.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and oversee essential operational workflows, including invoicing and controllership partnerships.
