Position Summary
As a Manager within the Retail Immunization Program, you will be directly supporting the CVS Pharmacy Immunizations Program. You will be responsible for compliance and practice standards for our Immunizers. This position will oversee the credentialing activities (Credentialing platform, Immunizer Status reporting, , etc.) as well as the preparation, testing and implementation of the Credentialing platform for immunizers. Cross functional set of skills such as understanding pharmacy operations, how system work and the use of data analytics will be utilized in this position This is a great opportunity to collaborate cross functionally with many Retail Pharmacy and Enterprise teams such as Pharmacy Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Training, and Professional Practices.

A TYPICAL DAY COULD INCLUDE:

  • Reviewing the latest changes to state or federal regulations pertaining to pharmacy colleague requirements and determining current compliance or gap analysis for implementation
  • Researching and categorizing required credentials for IT build of credentialing platform; Writing user stories for UAT of new credentialing platform
  • Crafting protocol procedures for immunization policies followed by a roll-out strategy to include communications and milestones
  • Work with technology partners to implement regulatory settings within RxConnect to ensure safety and compliance in providing immunizations
  • Jump on a call with CVS pharmacists/field leaders to hear about their feedback and suggestions for improving the immunization program
  • Build a new training or revise an existing training to support proper execution of immunization operations in RxConnect and/or the pharmacy

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years related experience
  • Intermediate competence with MS Excel, MS Word and Power point; Preferred data analytics experience

  • Deep functional knowledge of CVS pharmacy operations and systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
  • Must be able to review information, determine importance, and apply clinical knowledge to assist in outcome
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and utilize critical thinking/problem solving skills to make case decisions
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and flexible in adapting to change


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject or PharmD

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
