New England Dermatology & Laser Center has been providing dermatology care to the greater Springfield community for over 50 years. We are growing and looking for experienced Medical Assistants (MAs) with initiative & conscientious work ethics to join our busy specialty practice.

Primary duties include facilitating a positive patient office experience, assisting with various procedures, surgeries and visit documentation, completing lab and pathology requisitions, triaging and returning phone calls, scheduling patients, escorting patients to exam rooms, cleaning/stocking rooms and other related tasks.

MAs are assigned to work with and follow their MD/NPP or float. The regular work location will be varied between our offices (Northampton, Springfield, Longmeadow and Westfield) based on staffing and provider needs. Please see open positions below.

M-F 7:30a-4:30p, 40 hours per week (1 hour non-paid lunch), Springfield/ Longmeadow/ Westfield/ Northampton (float)

M-F 7:30a-4:30p, 40 hours per week (1 hour non-paid lunch), Springfield

M, Tu, W, F 7:30a-4:30p,32 hours per week (1 hour non-paid lunch), Springfield

Tu-F 7:30a-4:30p, 32 hours per week (1 hour non-paid lunch), Northampton/Springfield

M-Th 7:30a-4:30p, 32 hours per week (1 hour non-paid lunch), Northampton/Springfield

M-F 7:30a-4:30p, 40 hours per week (1 hour non-paid lunch), Longmeadow/Springfield (2)

M-Th 7:30a-4:30p, 34 hours per week (1/2 hour non-paid lunch), Longmeadow/Springfield

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and Medical Assisting Certificate from an accredited school required. Medical assisting experience is required. Dermatology experience & certification preferred.

This position reports to the General Dermatology Supervisors. Overtime and scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate operational needs.
