Implementation Manager, Healthcare

We’re looking for an Implementation Manager, focused on onboarding clients to Vital, to join our remote-first team. You will be guiding clients throughout the implementation process, meeting core business requirements for a technical integration, and ensuring operational success across stakeholder groups.

Vital builds software for care teams & patients, with a focus on the Emergency Room (ER) experience. We use artificial intelligence and machine learning to reduce length of stay, save millions by increasing doctors’ and nurses’ productivity, and keep patients safe & happy. There are more than 140 million visits to the ER every year in the US. Our mission is to improve the healthcare experience for these patients.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own client implementation, relationships, and success from contract close through go-live.
• Exceed client expectations on communication and project management updates, ensuring clear and concise delivery and expectation management for applicable stakeholders.
• Manage the technical integrations, serving as the client expert for internal stakeholders by seamlessly translating technical updates to non-technical resources and vice versa.
• Build and grow relationships with client stakeholders, including C-Suite hospital executives, hospital management staff, technical integration resources, and more.
• Communicate and uphold the standards of implementation for client operational and technical teams to ensure the highest quality of client experience at go-live.
• Analyze existing or build new processes and documentation for opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, scalability, and transparency.
• Deliver regular reporting on key metrics for implementation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide consistent and accurate project management updates through project management tooling and communication with client resources.
• Partner with integration, engineering, and product to drive forward workflow and patient experience enhancements to meet and exceed client expectations.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of healthcare information technology project management experience
• Clear, concise communicator that is detail oriented and hyper-organized
• Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
• High initiative: sense of urgency and self-motivation
• Metric driven, focused on consistent process improvement and quality delivery for internal and external clients
• Customer advocate and strategic thinker
• Project management focused, evaluating and understanding expectations at every step of the project
• Positive attitude, collaborative team player
• Understanding of networking and data communication protocols (i.e. VPNs, MLLP, HTTPS), healthcare data standards (i.e. HL7v2, HL7v3, FHIR, CDA), and technical integration project management would be beneficial but not required
• Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, HubSpot, GitHub proficient.
• Periodic Travel may be required
