Schedule Details: Day shift hours with periodic early morning or later afternoon meetings; required travel to outreach clinics (Mukwonago, Oconomowoc and Pewaukee); working supervisor position.

What You Will Do:

The Technical Quality Support Supervisor is responsible for the leadership of Dosimetry/Physics and Radiation Treatment units of the department of Radiation Oncology. He/She oversees the day-to-day operations, staff supervision and communication and collaboration with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff.   The principle responsibilities include management of day-to-day operations, establishing clinical standards of care; quality management, serving as a liaison with external vendors; participation in the capital equipment requests process including equipment evaluation; procurement and evaluation of other equipment and supplies. The Technical Quality Support Supervisor collaborates with physicians and physicists/dosimetrists on issues related to the management of patient care, and interacts with Oncology leadership regularly to promote effective care. He/She acts as a resource within the institution and to the community in the care of cancer patients. He/She is responsible for the education, staff development and quality improvement for the Radiation Oncology Department.

 

What You Will Need:

 

  • Master's in a healthcare related field
  • Certified as a radiation therapy technologist by the ARRT.
  • Clinic/health management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Possession of analytical decision-making skills necessary to quickly assess
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience

 

 

About Us:

Outpatient medical oncology is a busy department with patients being seen in clinic by a provider, either a Medical Oncologist or Nurse Practitioner. In addition we provide infusion services which may include chemotherapy, blood transfusions, or other IV therapies. Our clinic staff is made up of Nationally Certified Oncology RN’s, Oncology Nurse Navigators, LPN’s and secretarial staff to take care of patient needs.
