GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reporting to the After Sales Support Director the Regional Technical Training Coordinator is responsible for managing and conducting the regional technical training for the Western region of the United States under Manitou North America.
Your mission is to increase the end customer satisfaction by monitoring Manitou Group dealer network, and improve dealer technician autonomy by maintaining and increasing technical knowledge for a high level of diagnostic and repair quality for the product line contracted.
The Regional Technical Training Coordinator is the primary source for developing and adapting training packages for existing and new products, to improve technical knowledge and reduce warranty costs for all products and services marketed by Manitou North America.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and adapt different training programs in order to cover the dealer and Fleet Key
- Account needs taking into account:
- The most important Manitou/Gehl/ ranges sold in North America.
- The dealer’s technical level.
- The most relevant and frequent technical problems on the Manitou/Gehl ranges.
- The number of Technicians to be trained among the Dealer’s Network.
- The new Manitou Group products.
- Develop technical overview training for North American Dealer and Fleet Key Account.
- Maintain a file/catalog of existing and new technical training programs to provide a consistent training appearance and message in relation and partnership with other Manitou Group technical trainers (Harmonize packages).
- Develop national training events and curriculum that provides value and knowledge on a world-class level for internal and external customers.
- Coordinate with regional field staff to maintain the dealer technician list, with their skills set and adapt technical programs accordingly.
- Manage the skill and identify the need of the network, prepare the forecast for year +1, and manage all training administration.
- Coordinate with the Manitou Group technical trainers and publish a technical training calendar.
- Train the network on new products, and product updates by Conducting theoretical training courses and practical workshops.
- Manage Technical training events as assigned. Includes arrangement of all aspects of the event including but not limited to: equipment procurement, menu selection, and facilities requirements.
- Serve as a trainer or backup trainer for Manitou North America events as needed.
- Investigate and stay up to date on all Manitou Group products
- With a focus on continuous improvement, investigate and implement new training programs and interactive techniques as time and budgets allow.
