WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• CLINIC HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8AM TO 5PM

• Primary responsibility of working through cardiac testing and procedural authorization denials, peer to peer, appeals, and schedule coordination with physician and advance practice providers to assist in peer to peer needs. 

• Work closely with other denial coworkers, providers, authorization specialists, revenue cycle, and IHP leadership to facilitate timely patient care needs, capture revenue, and provide a crucial feedback.

• Provide feedback to improve processes related to testing and procedural authorization

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care.

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.

• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.

• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Associate's Degree Nursing / Patient Care

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree Nursing / Patient Care

• 2 years Nursing/Patient Care Required

• 2 years Clinic, Urgent care & ER Preferred

• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
