The Opportunity
The Division of Hematology/Oncology at LHMC is seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist specializing in Gastrointestinal and Head and Neck Cancers . Join a world-renowned tertiary medical center and a leading-edge research hub within the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) system.
Practice Highlights
Dual-Site Focus: Based at LHMC Burlington and the free-standing Cancer Center at Lahey Medical Center Peabody.
Expert Status: Serve as a regional expert in GI and head and neck cancers within the BILH Cancer Network.
Work-Life Balance: Infrequent night and weekend call expectations.
Support System: Access to excellent administrative support and dedicated nurse navigation.
Technology: State-of-the-art infusion, radiation oncology, genetics, and in-house next-generation sequencing (NGS).
Academic & Research Leadership
Teaching: Faculty role training UMass-Chan medical students and LHMC internal medicine residents.
Fellowship: Serve as a Core Faculty Member for the new LHMC Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.
Research: LHMC is a main member of SWOG and NRG, maintaining a robust clinical research program.
Appointment: Opportunity for academic appointment at UMass-Chan School of Medicine commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Medical Oncology.
