Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Group Project Manager to play a strategic role in our delivery of HR Technology to the enterprise. In this role you’ll lead complex, high-impact projects while coaching other project managers to strengthen consistency, collaboration, and excellence across our delivery practice. You’ll bring a strong commitment to delivery excellence and employee experience, ensuring that every project delivers measurable value and a positive impact for the people we serve. By building trusted partnerships across HR, Technology, and business teams, you’ll help create a delivery experience grounded in clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will shape how HR technology enables innovation, efficiency, and connection across the enterprise.

** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex HR technology initiatives from idea to implementation — balancing priorities, timelines, and resources to achieve impactful results.
  • Coach project managers to deliver with clarity, confidence, and consistency, helping grow the next generation of project leadership within the team.
  • Partner with HR, Technology, and business teams to align on goals, remove barriers, and build momentum around shared success.
  • Center employees and internal partners in every decision, using feedback and insight to guide design and implementation.
  • Create and refine delivery frameworks, templates, and tools that make project management more efficient, predictable, and transparent.
  • Keep projects connected to strategic goals, ensuring business outcomes are achieved and clearly communicated.
  • Deliver updates that inform, engage, and inspire confidence — turning progress and risks into stories that drive action.
  • Find opportunities to optimize processes, enhance collaboration, and strengthen the link between delivery and business value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (required)
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale business or technology projects, preferably within HR systems or enterprise applications
  • Proven success in coaching, influencing, and guiding peers in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding of PMO standards, governance, and delivery excellence
  • Demonstrated servant leadership mentality — fostering collaboration, trust, and accountability across teams
  • Experience applying experience-based delivery and user-centered design principles in project execution
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite of tools and Airtable (preferred)
  • Experienced in all Delivery Methodologies (preferred)
  • Six Sigma, PMP certification (preferred)

Base Pay Range: $103,100 - $186,000

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
