Job Responsibilities 

  • With one direct report (for now), work with senior business leaders and their teams in our Commercial, Medical Affairs and Business Development organizations to understand their strategy, how their businesses run, and how they’re measured.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to navigate the development of their teams. This could include leadership assessment, succession planning, organizational development, etc.
  • Provide coaching on employee relations issues to drive positive outcomes. Working with our employee relations team, conduct investigations and recommend/implement actions.
  • Working with the HR COEs, develop and implement programs around talent, career development, organizational design, leadership development, and DEI.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the client group for a wide range of inquiries from managers and employees, including but not limited to: leaves of absence, internal mobility, company-wide communications, employee development, etc.
  • Lead or work as part of a team on a variety of projects from concept through implementation.
  • Deliver and drive performance review and compensation planning processes to client groups.
  • Work with HR and client group to provide metrics and reporting.
  • Effectively partner with various functional leaders and HR members.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in an HR Business Partner role with a wide range of functional experience. Experience in the Biotech industry is preferred.
  • Experience leading a seasoned, professional team.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and advising executives.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with diverse client groups.
  • Experience working with organizations with progressive HR programs & practices, HR Operations, compensation and L&D/OD teams.
  • Experience supporting or successfully rolling out HR projects and programs.
  • Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations activities.
  • Problem solving capabilities with ability to apply judgment and make decisions.
  • Ability to process complex transactions with focus on quality and commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently, while contributing to team initiatives.
