We are looking for a …  Senior Sous Chef to support the Chef de Cuisine in overseeing all kitchen operations while delivering an exceptional culinary experience rooted in thoughtful, heartfelt hospitality. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, balancing creativity, operational excellence, and team development to ensure consistent, high-quality food and memorable guest experiences.

The Senior Sous Chef assists in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling kitchen operations and administration. You will lead by example—actively cooking, mentoring the culinary team, and managing all food-related functions—while working closely with leadership to uphold and promote Lyle’s culture, mission, and philosophy.

Senior Sous Chef Essential Functions

• Demonstrates creativity and innovation in menu execution and daily operations
• Possesses strong knowledge of food and beverage fundamentals
• Is a passionate culinarian with a refined palate and strong presentation skills
• Takes a hands-on approach to all operational aspects of the kitchen
• Communicates clearly and effectively with team members and leadership
• Shows initiative, self-motivation, and accountability
• Leads by example with strong training, coaching, and mentoring skills

This position requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 1–3+ years of experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant environment
• 1+ year of experience in a culinary management or leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of restaurant and kitchen operations
• Multilingual skills are a plus

Compensation:

$70, 000 - $80,000 annually
