Job Description
Your Career
As a Software Engineer for Prisma Access, you will be working on design, developing, and maintaining Linux applications code. We use technologies like c/c++, Qt-tool, script, apt-get, etc.
Your job will be to work on understanding some of our existing Linux application projects and add a variety of enhancements, features and tools. Also, this would involve implementation of features in an iterative way and eventually release the full solutions to the larger engineering organization.
Your Impact
- You will be responsible for developing and sustaining Prisma Access Linux client product on multiple platforms
- You will work with product management on user requirement
- Apply your knowledge to functional design
- Utilize your programming skills for efficient and robust implementation
- Interact with quality assurance and field support teams in debugging, troubleshooting, replicating, and resolving issues found in Prisma Access client software
Qualifications
Your Experience
- You have a M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent military experience
- At least 8+ years of relevant experience
- Software development experience in Linux environment required
- Proficient in C/C++, script, or Qt dev environment required
- Application programming knowledge in Linux required, IoT system a plus
- Knowledge of GTK libraries
- Familiar with multiple Linux distributions: RHEL, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.
- Experience with crash dump analysis
- Knowledge of Software development flow and design
- Experience with diagnosing, root causing, and resolving issues a plus
- Experience with network and cloud programming is a plus
- Be a self-starter, motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
