Job Summary
SummaryProvide oversight, training, and guidance to the clinical team. May have some research components to the role and may draft a comprehensive IRB document and update it as needed when procedures and personnel are required. Will oversee staff and train them on the department procedures and perform clinical functions within the department. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of department functions. Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by optimizing workflows, managing staff performance, and facilitating communication between care teams. Works to streamline processes, improve patient outcomes, and ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulations.

Essential Functions
-Provide oversight, training, and guidance for the staff.
-Participate in monthly Case Review and Audit meetings.
-Write or supervise writing clinical summaries following receipt of records and chart reviews following visits and ensure following standard operating procedures.
-Leads initiatives to build and advance the clinical department infrastructure.
-Create and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and take corrective action as needed.
-Submit Research documentation as required.

Education
Master's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
Experience with ADI and ADOS (autism diagnostic instruments) 3-5 years required and Clinical Assessment experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with psychological measures and instruments (Vineland, SRS, SCQ, CBCL, ABCL).
- Experience with bereavement support.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Trains, manages, and mentors subordinate staff.
- Strong computer skills.
