Brief Position Description
The person in this role will be responsible for repairing material handling equipment, transmissions, or other subassemblies according to specifications, and using hand tools and power tools. A technician will disassemble units and examine the condition, movement, or alignment of parts visually or using gauges. The technician will replace defective parts using hand tools, arbor press, flexible power press, and power tools as needed. The technician will also reassemble units and test operation.
Job Type and Schedule: Full time, M-F 8-hour shift with overtime available

- Compensation: $25-$32 per hour
Responsibilities
- Reporting to work on scheduled time every day and check in with dispatcher for daily work assignments.
- Driving to & from customer location in company provided service vehicle that has needed tools & part stock inventory.
- Perform routine scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment (oil changes, filter changes, pressure checks, etc.)
- Disassemble engine and repairs/replaces defective parts such as carburetor and generator as needed.
- Removes cylinder heads, grind valves, scrape off carbon, replace valves, pistons, cylinders, and rings as needed using hand and power tools.
- Hammers out dents & bends in frame, welds tears & breaks, reassembles frame.
