Job Description
Sia Partners is on the lookout for an exceptional Manager in Data Science. This pivotal role involves working with cutting-edge data science technologies and driving transformation within the organization and among our clients. The successful candidate will spearhead our data science initiatives, leading a team of talented data science consultants, to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data science consultants, fostering an environment of growth and development within the Data Science Business Unit.
- Collaborate closely with client leadership teams, engineers, program managers, and data analysts to understand and address data needs comprehensively.
- Drive the acquisition, processing, and exploration of relevant data sources, leveraging both structured and unstructured data to uncover trends and patterns.
- Employ expert data analytics and data science skills to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop machine-learning algorithms.
- Design and implement change management strategies to support the successful adoption of data science solutions across various organizational contexts.
- Utilize advanced project management methodologies to oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
- Develop and deliver high-impact communications through presentations, dashboards, datasets, and other mediums to convey complex data insights effectively.
- Engage in Business Development activities, contributing to the growth of the Data Science Business Unit and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful projects in complex organizations.
- Strong foundational knowledge in data science, including expertise in model building, machine learning, NLP, and statistical techniques.
- Proficiency in R, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBi, or R Shiny.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with certifications in Agile or other relevant methodologies being advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and influence skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaborative relationships at all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

- Salary range between $160,000- $200,000 + Bonus
