About this Role:  

The Training Video Production Specialist at Our World Energy will be responsible for planning, filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content to support the training and development of our field operations team. This role involves regular travel to job sites to capture live footage, followed by creating polished and engaging training materials that align with company branding and instructional goals. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in video production, a creative eye, and a passion for helping teams learn through clear, effective visual content.  

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Plan, film, and produce video training content for internal field operations and other functional teams.  
  • Travel regularly to job sites and operational locations to capture real-time footage of processes, installations, and best practices.  
  • Edit and produce high-quality videos using industry-standard editing tools, incorporating graphics, voiceovers, and branding.  
  • Ensure all video content supports training objectives and aligns with Our World Energy's brand standards.  
  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to capture accurate and instructional footage.  
  • Manage video production equipment including cameras, microphones, lighting, and editing software.  
  • Organize, archive, and maintain a library of training videos and related assets for future use.  
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in instructional media and training content.  

Required Skills & Qualifications:  

Education:  

  • Bachelor's degree in film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field preferred.  
  • Equivalent work experience in video production and editing may be considered in lieu of formal education.  

Required Experience:  

  • Min of 5 years of experience filming, editing, and producing professional video content (portfolio required).  
  • Prior experience creating training, instructional, or educational videos.  
  • Experience filming in real-world settings such as construction, field operations, or solar installation sites is preferred.  

Technical Skills:  

  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.  
  • Ability to operate and maintain video production equipment including cameras, microphones, and lighting.  
  • Familiarity with audio mixing, motion graphics, and color correction is a plus.  

Soft Skills:  

  • Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling abilities.  
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.  
  • Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.  
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, especially when working with field staff and subject matter experts.

  • Delivery of high-quality, on-brand training videos that meet instructional goals  
  • Improved engagement and understanding of field operations processes  
  • Timely production of video content aligned with operational training needs
