Title: Donations Field Supervisor
Pay Range: 23.97/hour
Location: Martha Lake ADC

About the Position

The Donations Field Supervisor is responsible for supervising donation station attendants at single or multiple sites. Ensures proper staff levels at all ADC sites. Provides initial and on-going training and supervision for all attended donation centers (ADC’s) staff. Partners with the Transportation department to ensure proper flow of donated goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
• Manage employees, equipment, facilities and logistics for each assigned location.
• Prepare and maintain reports and data by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Demonstrates safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwill’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Partner with People Relations as needed and appropriate.

Education and/or Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of donations experience
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
• Ability to read, speak and write English and perform basic math skills
• Ability to work with a diverse team
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
• Current WA state driver’s license and good driving record.
Computer/Technology Skills:
• Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 40-60 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; balance; bend and reach with hands and arms; use feet to operate foot pedal operation; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb ladders, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.
