Your Role
As the temporary Manager, Accounting, you will report to the VP of Accounting and will collaborate to build a best-in-class accounting function. This role is hands on and highly visible. You will have direct responsibility for aspects of the month-end close procedures, including Revenue Recognition, Cash, A/P, journal entry approvals, financial reporting review, and monthly reconciliations. The Manager, Accounting will play a pivotal role in supporting the team and team projects while two team members are on leave.

Primary Functions Include:
- Assist in managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes and the annual audit
- Establish and assess policies, practices and internal control procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with general ledger accounting functions
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Assist with automating key financial reports
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with Netsuite ERP administration and optimization preferred
- Experience with other ERP systems preferred (AP Automation/Credit Cards/Expense Management/Travel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
The base pay range for this role is $57.00 - $67.00. This position is not benefits eligible.
