As a Clinical Intake Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals access the behavioral health services they need. This position offers the opportunity to work with a compassionate and collaborative team, build strong clinical assessment skills, engage with diverse populations across the lifespan, and be a key part of life-changing care decisions. If you are empathetic, detail-oriented, and motivated to support individuals in times of need, this role is for you. 

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive initial assessments, establish provisional diagnoses, and develop treatment recommendations for individuals seeking services. You will connect clients to appropriate programs, support crisis intervention efforts when needed, and ensure accurate and timely documentation. You may also have the opportunity to provide brief therapeutic support and, with approval, supervise trainees.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Conduct comprehensive screenings and clinical assessments to determine service eligibility and individual needs 
• Develop initial treatment plans, establish provisional diagnoses, and recommend appropriate level of care and referrals 
• Provide brief therapeutic support and assist with safety planning or crisis intervention as needed 
• Coordinate follow-up care and connect clients with internal programs and community resources 
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and data reporting 
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support client care goals and minimize service disruptions 
• Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and professional development activities 
• Promote mental health awareness through education and community outreach opportunities 
• Support departmental goals, quality assurance efforts, and program evaluation initiatives
