The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Marketing Director to lead the newly formed AAMC Services Marketing team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns that raise awareness and drive adoption of AAMC services and programs for a diverse audience, including premed applicants, prehealth advisors, medical schools, teaching hospitals, residency and fellowship training programs, LoR authors, medical students, residents and fellows.  

 

How will you make an impact?  

As part of the AAMC Services team, you will: 

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with business goals and support strategic growth initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with the business development and Services teams to expand market reach and launch new products and services. 

  • Lead the creation of compelling marketing materials and collateral, including digital strategies and content. 

  • Partner with the Services leadership team to define and track marketing plans, metrics, and results. 

  • Champion data-driven decision making and leverage marketing best practices to maximize ROI. 

 

What you'll bring to the role 

 

  • A bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field. 

  • 10+ years of experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. 

  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies. 

  • Experience in marketing B2B and B2C products and services in a competitive market (technology, business, education, or health care preferred). 

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (social media, online advertising, SEO, etc.) and marketing research methodologies. 

  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 

  • A passion for learning and staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving marketing landscape.

Remote Work Eligibility

This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US

Compensation Grade Range and Mid-Point

Grade Range:$137,000.00 - $254,400.00/ Grade Mid-Point:$195,700.00

The above annual compensation range and mid-point are general guidelines. For candidates who meet the criteria, the AAMC's compensation philosophy is to target the midpoint of the salary range. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.

If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions.  One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
