Job Summary:
Adventist Health is seeking a motivated speech language pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in the Central Valley. Enjoy an excellent team environment working alongside highly skilled and collaborative physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists. Our team also includes rehab therapy aides to support you in providing high quality care and exceptional patient experiences.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Master's Degree: Required
- One Year of Outpatient Speech Language Pathology experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA): Required
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Required
- Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): Required
Essential Functions:
Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
