Provide Direct Nursing Care & Supervise Staff
Deliver hands-on care to residents while supervising and guiding nursing assistants in compliance with all healthcare regulations.Medication & Treatment Administration
Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring safe and proper procedures.Charting & Documentation
Complete timely and accurate documentation for admissions, care plans, treatments, incidents, and discharge planning in accordance with facility policies.Care Plan Implementation & Review
Review, update, and follow resident care plans daily; ensure all care is aligned with residents’ needs and preferences.Staff Leadership & Training
Lead your unit’s nursing personnel, assign work, mentor team members, and participate in performance evaluations, orientation, and ongoing training.Resident Admissions, Transfers, & Discharges
Oversee all aspects of resident transitions, from greeting and room preparation to documentation and family communications.Communication with Physicians & Families
Consult with physicians about resident conditions and treatments; notify families of changes or incidents and provide emotional support.Participation in Quality Assurance & Compliance
Engage in internal audits, government surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of care.Maintain Infection Control & Safety Protocols
Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention, sanitation, safety standards, and emergency procedures for residents and staff.Operate Within Budget & Report Concerns
Monitor supplies, report fraud or safety violations, and make cost-conscious decisions to support efficient and ethical operations.
