Service Technician

Description

At Crown Power & Equipment, our Service Technicians are an important key to our customer service experience. They are responsible for not only providing a high level of quality service but also an effective repair of agricultural, construction, and turf equipment while providing an excellent and professional customer service experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Independently perform basic to complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work on agricultural and construction equipment.
• Complete legible and thorough documentation required with work assignments.
• Effectively communicate equipment problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers.
• Attend appropriate, recommended training off-site.
• Maintain current product knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of agriculture-based equipment repair or similar industry
• Must have own tools or ability to acquire them
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Safety-minded work habits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on agricultural and/or construction equipment
• Commercial Driver’s License

Classification: Non-exempt FT
