Responsibilities
Provide data analysis and reports describing the current state of the business analyzing the fluctuations of business, and provide valuable insights and recommendations to influence and assist management make informed business decisions and strategies based on data.
Use data to identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest potential opportunities for gaps and improvements, and design and implement operational processes to advance and support project goals.
Measure and visualize the effectiveness of product updates, conduct research and analysis on various processes to identify business problems, and further provide optimization suggestions to improve operating efficiency.
Extract data from various databases, cleanse, consolidate, and visualize data, and create datasets and demonstrate the data visualization.
Develop and maintain database systems to extract, cleanse, transform, load and maintain data.
Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of business products.
Analyze business data in different markets, formulate targeted recommendation strategies, and evaluate strategic benefits.
Deliver data support for both short term and long-term business development plans from strategic scope and execution aspects with in-depths analysis.
Mentor interns and junior Data Analysts.

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Conducting exploratory and predictive analysis using Python, R, and Scala programming languages;
Designing A/B tests, conducting statistical analysis, and interpreting A/B test results to provide insights for product features;
Cleaning and processing data using relational databases and Hadoop Systems; and
Building clustering and classification machine learning models.
