Job Description
As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Vialto professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
- Review/sign US individual income tax returns (Expatriate, Foreign National), as well as Tax Equalization Calculations
- Communicate with the taxpayers to answer questions, go over their tax documents, and represent Vialto Partners as a capable, knowledgeable tax professional to whom they can trust their tax questions.
- Conducting pre-assignment and post-assignment tax consultations
- Oversee workflow management to ensure meeting KPI commitments.
- Agile when faced with uncertainty or changes; able to adjust priorities.
- Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills to provide value to our clients.
- Act to resolve issues which may prevent the team from working effectively.
- Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
- Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations. - Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.

- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
- Preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in understanding individual tax for employee cross-border movement including foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance and the tax equalization process; working in a professional service environment leveraging a worldwide network to best service clients.
- Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in utilizing technical skills in individual tax compliance;
- Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
- Demonstrates success as a tax technical business advisor
- Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to:
- innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;
- working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients;
- utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagement
Qualifications
Minimum Degree Required:
Bachelors Degree Minimum
Years of Experience:
5 year(s) of experience
Certification(s) Required: CPA, Enrolled Agent, Member of the Bar
Citizenship:
US Citizenship required.
