dsm-firmenich is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager with specialized expertise in Media, Marketing, and Communication services within the industry. This pivotal role will drive the strategic management and oversight of global procurement activities related to Media, Marketing, and Communication services. Operating within the vibrant business landscape of B2B and B2C in the USA, this role will play a crucial part in ensuring our Business Partners acquire high-quality services while optimizing costs and fostering robust supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Global Category Management: Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for Media, Marketing, and Communication services in alignment with dsm-firmenich goals and industry best practices.
- Strategic Thinking & Creativity: Bring innovative solutions to the sourcing process, demonstrating strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration Excellence: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Corporate, Business Partners & Units), fostering strong relationships with marketing, communication, and finance teams to understand their needs and align sourcing strategies. A team player who can build on knowledge share and motivate within the team.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with procurement activities, implementing effective risk management strategies to ensure service continuity.
- CSR: Infuse Corporate Social Responsibility standards and considerations into sourcing decisions, promoting ethical and sustainable practices in supplier relationships.
- Improve and reinforce the dsm-firmenich Indirect Procurement profile and recognition within the internal stakeholder community.

You bring:
- Bachelors' degree in procurement / communication area, Master’s degree preferred.
- Five years experience in Procurement as a Sourcing Manager with expertise in Media, Marketing, and Communication services in the B2B industry (B2C is a +)
- Strategic Thinking and Creativity: Demonstrating the ability to think strategically and creatively, identifying innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Collaboration Excellence: Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering synergy and achieving shared goals.
- Risk Management Proficiency: Proficient in risk management strategies, ensuring informed decision-making and minimizing potential risks.
- Ability to travel up to 30%
