Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a seasoned technology and consulting leader to join the Global Cloud Engineering team. As the leader in the Global Cloud Engineering team, you will develop, drive, and lead new business opportunities for Publicis Sapient’s cloud services.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in building and leading tech teams for technology services companies, with a focus on growing Digital Engineering and Cloud businesses. Experience in leading, solutioning and delivering large multi-year deals at Fortune level companies will be a strong advantage. Experience working in a matrixed environment, which includes interfacing with Industry and Regional delivery teams is a must.

You should be a seasoned technology leader who is passionate about and has extensive experience working directly with Fortune 100 companies at the CxO/EVP level on the multi-year cloud and IT Infrastructure modernization journey, which includes:

• decisions on IT Infrastructure/Cloud strategy
• cost assessment
• macro and micro designing
• tying business logic to outcomes
• finalizing important technology and architecture decisions
• identifying risks and suggesting mitigation strategies etc.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients on their cloud infrastructure needs. You will develop, drive, and lead new business opportunities for Publicis Sapient’s cloud services and will work closely with clients to understand their business goals and objectives developing solutions that align with their needs.

You should have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and a deep understanding of cloud technologies and trends. Additionally, you should have a track record of delivering successful cloud infrastructure solutions to C-Suite clients. 

As a thought leader in cloud infrastructure, you should be able to provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients and internal stakeholders, able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and be comfortable presenting to senior leadership and executive teams.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers to fully understand their needs
• Partner with the Publicis Sapient Industry leadership for go to market strategy with industry specific cloud infrastructure use cases.
• Collaborate with other teams within the organization to identify business requirements, developing and implementing strategies to meet those requirements, and providing guidance on the selection and implementation of cloud technologies.
• Be accountable for engineering delivery (estimates & execution), solution choice, quality and consistency (within the industry and aligned to global engineering capability).
• Provide direction to clients’ Engineering Lead for client success
• Interface with clients (existing and prospective) at all levels
• Lead Cloud Strategy and roadmap for clients’ cloud journey and/or IT infrastructure modernization
• Serve as internal and external Thought Leader in the aspects of Cloud Infrastructure, Infrastructure Design (including Data Centers) and Infrastructure Operations
• Collaborate with Customer facing engineering teams and assist in development of Go to Market Strategy
• Be recognized as a Thought Leader in industry and help leaders at Publicis Sapient to “see around the bend” - stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud infrastructure, providing recommendations on new technologies and solutions that can help the organization achieve its business objectives
• Work with Technology Alliance Partner teams such as Microsoft, AWS, and Google to jointly develop opportunities

Qualifications

• 20+ years of relevant experience in the enterprise Infrastructure / cloud solutions space, leading multi-year cloud and consulting services at fortune level customers either in internal roles or as a Services provider
