What we need…
We’re looking for a temporary Android and iOs mobile software engineer for a collaborative mobile development team. This would be an approximately 6 month contract position to support ongoing development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-quality, user-friendly Android and iOs applications and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Android/iOs apps that meet business and user requirements.
What you’ll do…
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android and iOs platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in mobile development.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.

What you’ll bring…
• 3+ years’ experience in mobile application engineering, specializing in Android and iOs development
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Swift, and Objective-C
• Familiarity with an Agile framework and CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
