MAJOR FUNCTION:
Responsible for the overall operation of the Respiratory Department and supporting site leaders across the health network in the daily administrative and clinical operations. Provides hands-on operational guidance to optimize staff productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across all imaging and diagnostic modalities.
Works in close collaboration with campus Directors and senior leadership to improve network performance and patient satisfaction scores while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Assists site leadership with staffing and scheduling challenges, onboarding and training of new staff, performance evaluations, and other personnel-related matters as needed.
Provides additional oversight and support for Sleep and Balance services by addressing patient concerns, resolving physician issues, and troubleshooting operational or workflow challenges within the labs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- An associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years Respiratory Care experience required.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Current Registered Respiratory Care licensure by New Jersey board of Respiratory Care required.
- NBRC RRT Credentialed (Active)
- Current BLS (American Heart Association).
- ACLS/PALS required within 3 months of hire.
