Join in and feel the difference.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are currently looking for an <strong>SW Project Quality Assurance Engineer </strong>to work within our team.</p><p>At <strong>Steering</strong>, we are passionate about our job, and we are working closely together to deliver complex and safe software solutions for customers and platforms. </p><p>You will join us in working with Front Steering and Rear Steering products that are widely spread, while our ECU virtualization solutions are a trendsetter in the Automotive Industry. On platform projects, our common goal is to define concepts that are meant to be applied on a division level.</p><p><strong> In your role you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Independently report the quality status of the technical project</li><li>Escalate potential quality problems from the technical project within the project management of the AS-ER division</li><li>Provide support to employees in the technical department for the purpose of continuous improvement, having a way of thinking focused on quality</li><li>Provide support for the implementation of processes and methods applicable to Steering projects from a quality point of view</li><li>Regularly improve the processes and methods following the actual analysis of the applicability of the processes on the projects in the AS-ER division</li><li>Provide support in the preparation of projects for QG (Quality Gates) and project releases</li><li>Plan the review of the fulfillment of the activities mentioned in the process and carry out these checks (technical documents, release approvals, process reviews, etc.)</li><li>Be responsible for consolidating and monitoring the quality indices within the project and presenting them to the project management team</li><li>Perform sporadic checks regarding the quality of the projects</li><li>Monitor the quality measures defined in the project (QA LOP = List of Open Points)</li><li>Participate and provide support in the internal audits carried out in the technical department</li><li>Provide support to employees for the correct understanding and use of the software development processes required by the AS-ER organization</li><li>Define and monitor quality measures together with the project management team</li><li>Create the CR (Change Request) check list and performs CR checks</li><li>Prepare project data for SW QA approvals</li><li>Prepare the project data for the quality report</li><li>Ensure compliance with quality standards and follows the software development processes established at the project level.</li><li>Provide technical support to colleagues and participates in the successful integration of new colleagues into the company.</li><li>Contribute to the estimation of the required effort as well as to the establishment and observance of deadlines, as they are imposed at the project level.</li><li>Successfully apply soft skills to carry out quality activities in order to have a successful outcome on the project</li><li>Have the ability to understand the maturity of software elements compared to the methods specified in the process</li></ul><p><strong>Technology stack:</strong></p><ul><li>Tools: Git, Jira</li><li> Safety standard ISO26262, security standard ISO21434, ASPICE</li><li>Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>University degree in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable</li><li>Experience with embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry and strong C programming skills</li><li>Communication skills on all hierarchical levels</li><li>Familiarity with tools for software project management and software version management</li><li>Initiative and creativity, persuasion and assertiveness</li><li>Self-motivated and responsible way of working</li><li>Enjoy working in an international team</li><li>Advanced English; German or o
