LD-Axiom – is a sell-side Order Management System that offers market access to 30 Futures’n’Options exchanges worldwide, developed by Deutsche Bank Berlin Tech Centre.

Technology stack – Java 11 for backend, .NET for UI and Oracle for database. Hardware distributed among APAC, EMEA and AMER regions.

The application developer’s responsibilities will be implementation of the business and IT requests, maintaining application’s stability and keeping it consistent across the variety of historic and new requirements, reviewing other people’s designs and code changes. The vital part of this role is a communication with distributed team – business stakeholders, functional analysts and technology engineers.

Your key responsibilities

• Work on the design, implementation and deployment of large, complex software projects

• Refactoring of existing code

• Take responsibility and work independently in a high-load, time-critical environment

• Take part into architecture discussions to propose and agree future state of system architecture

• Work in an Agile software R&D engineering team building solutions for derivatives trading business

Your skills and experiences

• Excellent knowledge of Core Java (collections, multithreading, Spring framework, concurrency)

• Ability to tune performance, memory consumption, GC

• Ability to drive design and architecture for large distributed applications, with focus on latency and stability

• UNIX, shell, SQL knowledge

• Knowledge of trading and associated protocols (FIX) is a significant plus

• Google Cloud Platform experience also helps if you have
