Saint Luke’s East Hospital is proud to be dually certified by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and AMI Center. Through our 24/7 STEMI program, we provide immediate, expert cardiovascular intervention, ensuring rapid response for critical emergencies.

We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 31-bed Emergency Department, where teamwork, technology, and top-tier care come together to make a difference.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Work with a skilled, collaborative team using advanced protocols and technologies.

• Respond to a wide variety of medical emergencies with professionalism and precision.

Shift Details: PRN Extra- minimum 6 shifts within a 6 week period. Must work 2 weekend shifts within 6 weeks. 2 minor holidays or 1 major holiday.

Job Description:

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current Missouri RN license required.

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 2–5 years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.

Note: Schedule flexibility may be required during orientation and training.
