About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is currently accepting applications for Physician Assistant at the South Shore Emergency Department. These exciting new positions with Nova Scotia Health are assisting in transforming healthcare delivery and patient care throughout our province. Join a team of individuals working to help patients, families and caregivers with the right care at the right time in the right place.

As a member of the team, the Physician Assistant (PA) will report to the Primary Supervising Physician and functions within a dynamic collaborative care team. Under the supervision of a surgeon/physician, the PA will provide general medical and surgical care to patients with a wide variety of traumatic injuries, acute conditions, and elective surgical disorders.

Facility, Community and Opportunity Information

Cumberland Regional Hospital is location in Amherst, NS, which is less than 10 minutes from the New Brunswick boarder. Candidates could choose to live on either side of the boarder, with a short highway drive to our facility. Many of our employees live in New Brunswick and travel to our facility daily.
