In this position...
The Lincoln Product Marketing Manager is responsible for executing all marketing deliverables through the product development process. They are responsible for assessing volume, revenue, content and offering strategy that delivers on the Lincoln brand pillars. They are the subject matter expert on the competitive set and understand the target customer and Lincoln brand strategy better than anyone. Through this expertise, the Lincoln Product Marketing Manager is focused on creating compelling vehicles that drive quality and profit, transforming Lincoln into a brand clients can’t live without.
What you'll do...
- Create must-have Lincoln product by being the Lincoln Product Marketing expert for your specific vehicle through all stages of the development process
- Lead responsible for providing Voice-of-the-Customer input and achieving all product development deliverables for future model Lincoln programs. Subject matter Expert on the current and future segment and competitive set.
- Product Marketing lead on Lincoln product-related studies finding opportunities to simplify and modernize including offering strategy questions, profit improvement actions, and product reviews.
- Define and own the product’s value proposition and offering strategy that includes product, packaging, pricing actions, as well as program volumes and product mixes to maximize customer desirability and profitability.
- Integration of market brand strategy into vehicle line product assumptions. Manage key Lincoln brand initiatives, such as subscription, and connectivity including strategic development, product implementation, timing, and experiential elements.
- Work with the market research team to coordinate key market research events, including event planning, participation and report–out. Responsible for advocating key research findings into product development and design processes.
- Ensure an outstanding hand-over of Marketing responsibilities and product knowledge as vehicles move from future to current (launch) model; Support Go-To-Market Marketing efforts, including internal product immersions.
- Champion team efforts and presentation materials for Key Dealer interfaces
- Assess commodity/feature take rates to ensure the fastest selling features are in the market to guide accurate financial forecasting and inform corporate emissions planning
- Manage and lead in-cycle actions that create excitement (“buzz”) for the product
- Proactively support ongoing quality & profit improvement, content realignment, and complexity reduction efforts
- Manage and lead enterprise cost optimization initiatives for a nameplate with coordination with the Brand team
You'll have...
- Strong ability to build business cases and proposals and communicate them to senior leadership effectively.
- Bachelors degree.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate leadership through influencing and collaboration across multiple internal and external partners.
- Ability to "free-think" and be innovative regarding strategic and tactical business opportunities and issues.
- Ability to act with urgency, simplify complex issues & develop a compelling point of view.
- Ability to persuasively make a case for change that leads to action.

- Understanding of Marketing Product Development process.
- Understanding of the US Marketing & Sales Operations and US consumer/dealer wants and needs.
- Knowledge of key data sources, tools and dashboards including GPS, NVCS, JDPIN+, S&P.
