This advertisement is for a full-time, Career Service position located within Central Office in the Division of Facilities Management & Building Construction in the Bureau of Engineering.
Salary: $53,000.22 annually

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
This position will assist in managing the Division’s Environmental Compliance Management and energy conservation program. This position will assist with management and compliance of FDC’s Aboveground Fuel Storage Tank Program and participate in energy management and conservation programs for our Facilities. This position will assist the Engineer Staff in developing new and related contracts. The incumbent will perform Project Management and conduct site visits at Correctional Institutions for these programs as needed and assist the Energy Section Team Lead with contract energy related monitoring functions as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of work experience in the engineering, environmental compliance, energy, or permitting fields or a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, geology, or the natural sciences and 3 years of related work experience in the engineering, environmental compliance, energy, or permitting fields.
- 3 years of Data Management / Collection / Analysis and Spreadsheet experience
- A valid Florida Driver license
- Ability to perform occasional day travel and some overnight travel within the State.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of AST regulations/compliance, energy conservation programs, or permitting.
- Knowledge or experience related to the operation of wastewater treatment facilities (WWTF) and/or water treatment plants (WTP)
- Knowledge of basic contract management principles and practices
