Responsibilities:
- This is an onsite leadership role supporting an engineered-to-order manufacturing operation.
- This position is intended for a highly hands-on supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys being directly engaged on the manufacturing floor leading teams, solving problems, driving execution, and supporting daily operations in real time.
- The Production Supervisor will work closely with Plant Leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time execution of assembly operations, materials flow, and production readiness across the facility. This role will spend the majority of the time on the production floor coordinating labor, removing obstacles, supporting team members, and driving operational performance.
- Provide hands-on supervision and leadership for daily operations in an engineered-to-order assembly environment.
- Execute production schedules and adjust priorities and resources to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
- Coordinate material flow, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional support to maintain production continuity.
- Monitor operational performance and troubleshoot production, equipment, and process issues impacting throughput and quality.
- Plan labor requirements, staffing, and overtime to support changing business demands.
- Train, coach, and develop employees while maintaining accountability for performance, attendance, and safety expectations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on Lean manufacturing, 5S, ergonomics, and operational efficiency.
- Communicate production status, issues, and recovery plans while fostering a culture of safety, urgency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
