What You Will Do:

In this role, Field Service Representative (FSR) will use his/her in-depth knowledge and field experience to provide maintenance and sustainment support for National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) in the National Capitol Region (NCR) and is primarily responsible for check out, operation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and modification to components of the system. The daily responsibilities of the FSR include the movement and accountability of materials, equipment and tools, work site set up, and record keeping within prescribed policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have broad experience, a track record of reliability, adaptability & ingenuity, and a desire for a rewarding and challenging assignment. Experience with Operational and Tactical Procedures Associated with Air Defense Systems is considered an asset. The ability to provide intermediate and depot level system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting skills required to resolve electronic and mechanical problems is strongly desired.

Qualifications You Must Have :

The FSR shall possess leadership qualities to enhance the required close coordination, either as an individual (stand-alone) or as a team member, with cognizant military customers to ensure support is provided in a professional, timely and efficient manner. The individual shall be flexible to adapt to constantly changing environments and be responsive to the customer’s maintenance support requirements. In addition, the individual shall be capable of providing support and engineering assistance at all maintenance echelons (organizational, intermediate and depot/factory). This position will require the FSR to perform unscheduled work outside of normal working hours and occasionally on weekends if FSR support is required. The selected candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., with assistance, as part of regular PMCS and system troubleshooting. This position requires travel between multiple NCR work sites. 

Travel

CONUS (10%) travel is required, International (<10%) is possible.

Accomplished interpersonal skills and consummate team player.

Ability to understand technical manuals, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics for the purpose of isolating and correcting malfunctions.

Participate in a rotational “on call” schedule and respond to emergencies whenever needed.

Polished written and verbal skills, and professional demeanor.

Independent Self-Starter and able to work reliably without supervision.

In-depth understanding of missile systems maintenance is a must.

Understand primary cybersecurity policy information including DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework

Help ensure Cyber policies are enforced and support leadership reviews

Qualifications We Prefer

Minimum of 5 years with military power generation, electronics technician, weapons, radar, launcher, communication, or fire control systems. (Specifically: NASAMS, SLARAAM/AMRAAM, HAWK, PATRIOT, THAAD, Patriot Aegis Sentinel or Firefinder Radar Systems,) Examples of Military jobs but not limited to 94S,14E/T/S/G/J, 12P, Navy Electronics Technicians, Electrical Power Production, and Utilities.

Mandatory Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.

Ability to work outdoors in extreme climate conditions.

Ability to occasionally work 12-hour days.

Qualifications You Must Have

DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g. CompTIA Security+) prior to starting or obtain within six months of hire date.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL of at least Class B with Air Brakes and Manual Transmission) prior to starting or obtain within six months of h
