About the role

Observability Pipelines is one of Datadog's fastest-growing product lines, helping enterprises optimize telemetry costs, modernize observability architectures, and strengthen security operations. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Observability Pipelines, you'll own the go-to-market strategy for a rapidly expanding business at the intersection of observability, security, and AI. You'll partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Analyst Relations and Sales Enablement to shape category positioning, accelerate product adoption, and drive competitive success. This is a highly strategic role for someone who enjoys building new categories, influencing product direction, and delivering measurable business impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Observability Pipelines, including positioning, launches, adoption, and field readiness.
  • Develop differentiated messaging and category narratives that position Datadog as the intelligent telemetry pipeline platform while supporting competitive displacement against solutions such as Cribl and Splunk.
  • Lead analyst relations efforts for the telemetry pipelines market, including Gartner Magic Quadrant participation, analyst briefings, and market education.
  • Build and maintain sales enablement assets including pitch decks, competitive battlecards, demos, customer stories, and sales plays that help account teams accelerate pipeline and revenue.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Marketing, Enablement, and Customer Success to translate customer insights into compelling product narratives and customer proof.
  • Measure and optimize go-to-market performance by tracking product adoption, pipeline influence, competitive outcomes, and launch success metrics.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of Product Marketing experience supporting enterprise B2B SaaS products.
  • Experience developing and executing product positioning, messaging, launches, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement for technical products.
  • Background marketing infrastructure software, observability, data platforms, security, developer tools, or adjacent enterprise technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively with highly technical audiences while translating complex capabilities into clear customer value.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally across Product Management, Sales, Enablement, Analyst Relations, and Customer Marketing.
  • Passionate about observability, security, AI, and helping customers solve complex operational challenges through innovative technology.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We know not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your experience, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:
