The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Outpatient (OP) Services serves as a strategic Clinical Operations leader at a regional level. An RVP is expected to develop and manage high functioning teams that consistently deliver the best in patient outcomes and customer service for patients and healthcare partners. This person will consistently excel at managing senior hospital leadership (C-suite), physicians, and hospital administrative partners to ensure operational efficiency across all relevant partner service lines, continued growth, and development of new business opportunities. They will support the strategic direction set by the Chief Executive, Transformation or Operations Officer with strategic regional management through the DDO of all points of service and personnel. An RVP must be aligned with the values of the Company, which includes establishing and maintaining a system that is professional, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and highly ethical.
An RVP of Operations will execute the operational vision of the company through outpatient clinics. An RVP will be responsible for labor management, key clinical and financial performance indicators including but not limited to budgeted visits, units, evals, referrals, net income, referral growth, discharge planning, appropriate coding and compliance, and others to be determined by partners and local leadership. An RVP will oversee implementation of PT Solutions’ business direction and business practices on a day-to-day basis via local leaders in DDO, Senior Clinic Managers and Clinic Managers. They will also actively source new acquisition targets, hospital partners, and referral sources and ensure current sources are maintained in a healthy fashion.
An RVP of outpatient operations will coordinate and participate in developing strategic business plans to optimize current and future performance. Oversight may include some/all current and future named Directors of District Operations, Senior Clinic Managers, Clinic Managers, and any additional team members that directly or indirectly support the daily operations of outpatient services.
Key Success measures for the RVP position include practice wide and individual facility EBITDA, practice growth by way of new clinics and management agreements, clinical compliance, risk management, sustained referral development, and progressive reports on clinical outcome and patient satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as a key member of the Operational Leadership Team by assisting in operational and financial oversight in support of the company’s growth initiatives.
- Advance clinical financial performance through revenue growth, labor controls, expense management, and net patient
- collection efforts through clinical oversight and leadership.
- Maintain clinical compliance by ensuring locations are in compliance with standards, company policies and procedures and
- external regulatory requirements, and that clinical documentation meets these requirements.
- Maintain and advance risk management strategies.
- Facilitate and work in concert with CEO/CTO/COO on therapist development programming on clinical management of patients, leadership, business operations, and compliance.
- Assist and develop clinic leader succession planning and change management with a focus on growth-oriented company objectives.
- Assist in new clinic development both with clinic DeNovo growth and management agreements.
- Develop and maintain acquisition clinical integration.
- Provide broad financial leadership to the Company to support improvements, growth, and expansion.
- Assist the COO in addressing key strategic issues related to financial performance and clinical reporting.
- Assist in business forecasting and budget development and manage clinics toward budget performance.
- Supervise and guide operational leaders to include DDOs, CMs and SCMs to enhance oversight of company operations and clinical performance.
- Assist in maintaining hospital relationships with hospital leadership and sustained PT Solutions growth in this venue.
- Foster and advance new relationships among the physician referral community.
- Further enhance KPI operational reporting on labor, clinical performance, outcome, patient, third party and referral satisfaction.
