The CRM Associate: is an entry level strategy position, reporting to the CRM Sr. Manager, whose primary purpose is ensuring that effective, consistent, and timely email communications are finalized and distributed to external audiences to support the consistent growth of online revenue, customer retention and customer acquisition. The Associate will directly support CRM initiatives for Fanatics.com. The Associate should have basic email marketing knowledge and will develop skills to build data-driven customer marketing strategies. The Associate will work cross-functionally with CRM Operations, Business Management, Creative & Merchandising teams to create effective, relevant, and measurable email campaigns.
The Associate will require initial training and direct supervision. The Associate will quickly progress to operate with moderate task oversight and assistance from their manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Liaise with CRM strategy leads and Business Management teams to plan, manage & execute the email campaign development process from story ideation to campaign execution for relevant site portfolio
•Produce various weekly, monthly & ad-hoc reports on email marketing effectiveness and customer performance that is shared to internal and external communities
•Analyzes campaign performance and develops recommendations for improvements
•Participate in proofing & approvals process; demonstrate attention to detail to identify errors and support flawless execution while maintaining SLA guidelines.
•Develop email campaign audience criteria which include segmentation, cadence, sequencing, and dynamic content targeting, through collaboration with the Sr. Manager, CRM.
•Champion all email marketing campaigns and follow quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and on-time campaign delivery.
•Stay abreast of trends and best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
•Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education & Experience Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
•Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
•Minimum of 2+ years of experience executing email and direct response campaigns in a marketing/advertising agency or corporate marketing department.
•Ability to learn technology tools and processes quickly
•Keen attention to detail
•Ability to think analytically and creatively
•Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
•Exceptional work ethic, ability to multi-task and perform under pressure to meet deadlines
•Ability to develop effective working relationships with others inside and outside the organization.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily in Excel with the ability to sort and organize data using pivot tables.
