About the Role

The Derivatives Operations Analyst (Analyst) will be responsible for supporting the derivatives operations team which includes collateral and margin processes for Futures, Listed Options, Cleared OTC, MSFTA, and Bilateral products, as well as operational support for OTC products such as rates, credit, total return swaps, and options. This will include the reconciliation and instruction of daily margin requirements, processing of accounting postings, post-value control reconciliations, settlements, and life-cycle event processing. The Analyst will work closely with our brokers, vendors, service providers, client relationship teams, trading, and technology to ensure timely trade capture in multiple internal systems, processing of lifecycle events, responding to client inquiries, and troubleshooting critical issues. Due to the complexity and manual nature of some functions, the Analyst will continually look for opportunities to create efficiencies through workflow enhancements and technology for the processing, reporting and reconciliation of derivatives. They will be involved in various projects by performing user acceptance testing and assisting with other implementation tasks. While the Analyst will work in a team-oriented environment, many projects will be self-directed, often under intense deadline pressures.
