Basic Job Functions:

We are seeking a maintenance lead to be actively engaged in building and developing a team that takes ownership over safety, electrical, and mechanical maintenance functions of the Towers and Structures facility. The maintenance lead will help facilitate the creation of a maintenance team for a production line at our Crawfordsville, Indiana location.  

 

The site will feature state-of-the-art machinery for advanced steel manufacturing, and the team will be responsible for safely maximizing equipment productivity and uptime. The team must be able to support the integration and maintenance of the new equipment so that it can be optimized by the team for production. The lead will play an integral role in this by:

 

  • Supporting development of safe work practices and procedures for the facility
  • Helping recruit and hire a diverse and high-achieving team
  • Helping train, develop, and coach the maintenance team
  • Attending and facilitating relevant trainings on equipment and maintenance best practices
  • Scheduling, planning and prioritizing repairs while maintaining communication with the team
