Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
- As least 1 year of prior experience as a licensed sit-down forklift driver.
- Ability to read/measure accurately with a standard tape measure.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
- Ability to work some overtime to complete customer orders on-time.
- Checks of prior employment must be acceptable.
Essential Functions:
- Glue all production items using a hand-held spray gun to customer specifications.
- Verify quality of items being produced meet Carpenter and customer standards.
- Perform various duties in the department, including but not limited to: operating rail saw/index slitter and/or Bruno press, loading/unloading contour cutters, bailing scrap as needed. Safely lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally, lighter weights frequently.
- Fill in for other operators as needed or dependent upon vacancies.
- Complete daily production paperwork.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Read and interpret a tape measure.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
