Job Summary

The Manager of Finance is the key leader and manager of all finance and accounting personnel and activities for the company.  They are expected to work directly with their team and with company leadership to drive the financial success, organization, and compliance of the business. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks

• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.  Communicate regularly to ensure performance and mitigate risk.

• Set up and oversee the company’s Financial Planning and Analysis method and software to guide variance analysis, performance, and reporting.

• Set targets and weekly/ monthly reporting tasks for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (Finance Manager, Commissions, AP/AR)

• Organizes consolidation and roll-up of team data and reporting activities.

• Implement and Oversee Enhanced Commissions System and Process

• Implement and oversee all audit and SOX internal control operations

• Oversee Acquisition of Books of Business and drive dealmaking process

• Organize and be involved in Annual Sales Forecasting and Reforecasting to predict revenue.

• Work directly with Corporate Team to provide Annual Operating Plans & Reforecasts.

• Work directly with Corporate Team to provide Monthly Variance Reporting and answer to any questions or concerns.

• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis

• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives

• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

• Work to create and build Revenue Model for company to help leaders expand growth.

• Work to create and organize FP&A ROI projects to increase efficiency in the business.

• Oversee the annual disbursement of marketing funds to partners. Build a working system,

Primary Skills & Requirements:

• 5+ years of Corporate Finance Experience or Financial Management

• Experience managing direct reports.

• BA/BS Degree in Finance or MBA/ MS with Finance/Accounting Focus preferred

• Insurance and Medicare Experience (Preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to help a company grow and succeed financially

• A proven track record of strong client relationships.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills and Experience

• Experience with an Accounting Software and FP&A Software
