Summary
Position directly contributes to organization by creating high-quality documents appropriate for intended audience and enhancing customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create clear, organized external and internal documents for stakeholders
- Maintain stylistic, notational, and organizational standards to unify communications. (owner’s manuals, service manuals, service video’s, employee newsletters and dealer newsletters)
- Develop user-facing tutorials and documentation to improve the customer experience
- Work with multiple departments to obtain needed information for production of documents (engineering, sales, marketing, CS, quality, manufacturing, purchasing, etc.)
- Develop standards and protocols with team members for project documentation. Work independently on assigned projects and maintain timelines

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires familiarity with or working knowledge of Adobe package (in-design, photo shop, illustrator & acrobat). Requires familiarity with Microsoft package.
Language Skills: Position requires strong communication, both oral and written. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
